There is no doubt that each wedding day, celebrating its own, unique couple and the thousands of decisions that go into crafting it, is one-of-a-kind. With that, keep in mind that this selection of "what to expect in your wedding gallery" is more of a "greatest hits." Just because there's not a specific section in this list doesn't mean it cannot be added for your wedding gallery. Likewise, not all of the following "scenes" of a wedding day are a part of each and every one.
Setting
Your wedding photos tell a story, and the setting is a key part of that story. From the way the sunlight looks when you walk into your wedding venue, to the weather, and so on, you will have visual reminders of all these things.
2. Details
My philosophy while shooting is: "If the couple spent money, time, or thought on it, I want to give them a photo of it." The first part of shooting a wedding day is usually dedicated to these smaller or things that are difficult to see organically during the day: wedding invitations, shoes, rings, jewelry, and so on. These personal details can include anything that's important to you. Sometimes couples have included hand-written notes from loved ones who have passed away, antique mirrors and other family heirlooms, and so on.
3. Getting Ready
As the name implies, getting ready is the fun part of the day filled with anticipation and "things getting real." A lot of pre-mediated fun happens during this part of the day with things like surprise gifts, champagne popping, matching robes, and so on!
