For Kansas City brides who aren't afraid of a little driving, the wealth of stunning, natural beauty of the Cave State is available in the form of wedding venues. For Olivia and Jacob and their "everything autumn" wedding day, Wildcliff Events could not have been more perfect. This is this Missouri October wedding.
From its natural lake to unique getting-ready locations, this venue is undoubtedly one-of-a-kind in the state of Missouri, if not all of the Midwest. These lovebirds wanted a wedding day that was dazzling and moody like autumn leaves.
Wildcliff's bridal cottage was a gorgeous, neutral backdrop for all the fun and moody bridal party details. Like the champagne-popping celebrations show, Olivia's fall leaves-inspired bridesmaid robes blended in perfectly with the October woods around them.
I loved unwrapping, learning about, and capturing all the details Olivia and Jacob painstakingly wove into their wedding day. Here, Olivia's antique, family heirloom hand mirror was the final touch for her getting ready.
According to her beauty-oriented vision, Olivia had her first look with her father up on the cliffside trail overlooking the spring-fed lake.
Along with their elegant and nature-inspired venue, Wildcliff also offers The Hollow, a historic building in downtown Blackwater, to their wedding couples for their receptions as well.
As a Kansas City wedding photographer, I was thrilled to be able to explore down I-70 to work with this incredible couple for this gorgeous, unique wedding day.
